Pinapple Smoothie
Selecting the right recipe for your smoothie is a matter of personal preference. Some people like acidic fruits like lemon and orange, other prefer sweeter fruits like apples and bananas. What ever your preference there is no doubting the healthy goodness from a freshly made smoothie and here I am going to give you some smoothie recipes with pineapple.

All fruits have health benefits but pineapple is more than just being packed with vitamins and minerals. Pineapple helps to strengthen weak bones, is good for the gums and also help ward off arthritis so give some of them a try.

There are many fruits that you can combine with pineapple to make some really tasty pineapple smoothie recipes and these are my personal favourites.

Pineapple and Mango Smoothie

1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup mango or peach chunks
6oz vanilla yogurt
1 1/4 cup skim milk

Banana Pineapple Smoothie

1 cup cubed fresh pineapple
2 bananas frozen sliced
1 cup unsweetened soy milk
1 cup non-fat yogurt
Ice cubes

Pineapple and Grapefruit Smoothie

1 1/2 cups grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed is preferred
3/4 cup of sliced pineapple
1/4 cup of pineapple juice (this will sweeten it up nicely)
1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
2 cups ice
